I need your help.
Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you I am a very happy and joyful person. During the Summer it just happened that at conferences several people kept telling me to write a book about Joy and Happiness. Then several of my friends who are not involved with the law of attraction or personal growth development suddenly told me that I owe it to the world to tell them why I am always so happy and joyful. There you have it, now that I told you, I am committed to finish writing this book.
So I would like to ask you to be part of this project. I would like to hear from all of you with some of your thoughts about:
What makes you happy?
If you are always a happy person, what is your core belief system and foundation that makes you happy?
If you are feeling sad or depressed, what thoughts or events can turn your mood into happiness, how quickly can you do that?
What is your outlook in life? Are you a positive person? Or, are you more towards a negative person?
Are you taking any courses to improve your happiness???

I started to compose my thoughts, as to “what makes me happy” and every time I’d develop the ‘body’ of my reply it would go something like this. …and that secure feeling…and that makes me secure knowing… So I would venture to say that I need to have a sense of Security to allow a feeling of happiness to surface. I would appreciate your comment on this.
I’m just beginning to work with The Secret, so I am working toward being as happy as you are! For now, I have found the absolute best cure for a negative mood is laughter. I use mental images of funny things my kids have done and keep a host of books and web pages to refer to when I need a chuckle. (videos of people laughing hysterically, especially babies, are always a sure bet!)
ANSWERS
What makes me happy?
When I share happy feelings with others. That makes me really happy.
A beautiful flower makes me happy.
To send out love straight from my heart makes me happy, especially when there is a respond, a smile, an understanding, joy
The help from friends in spirit makes me happy.
I feel the angels and great teachers helping us from inside out and from outside in. That consciousness is a constant happiness
I’m, when connected with spirit always a happy person.
I’m sad or depressed when I think nobody understands me. (that’s was my old pain) When people want to go into war and kill for peace. That sort of thinking in the world makes me really unhappy. How I overcome my negative feelings? To accept, in the first place, the feelings and the good intention behind my sadness or depression. So I can better accept my own longing for love and wisdom. My own longing for a perfekt world. To accept the world or the other person like it is now, that helps me. Because I also understand my own perceptions. That’s another way to put it.
When I’m sad I talk to my Teachers and friends, I take all the time to reconnect. Nothing is than more important than to reconnect with spirit. Some times it takes one minute sometimes I become ill and it takes one or two days to reconnect. I know when I’m ill and talking to my Gods, I do good work for the environment I live in. Suddenly others come with good ideas or they have no longer fights with others.
My outlook in life was very dark and very light with nothing in between. Now I colour the grey field in between in beautiful colours, feelings, thoughts. So I’m turning into a positive person on all subjects of life. The well-known sentence I do what I can do, I change what I can, what I can’t change I let go (or have the confidence others will change it) All what is left is Gods work what I’m grateful for. (maybe its Gods work for 90%, so what a happiness is there to share!)
Yes, I take courses to be a more stable happy person. NLP from the heart, Spirit coaching, School of intuition, money workshops.
Eugen thanks for asking me to write down my happy life development.
I have a question back. I started an idea that is named Share your Happiness. Its no coincidence that you write me. Is it possible to translate your book about happiness in dutch and to have some parts of it on my future website? (English and dutch)
Its my intention to share the happy storys of the world on internet and also to give and implant trainings that teach others to make happy stories by transforming and giving a new spirit to everybodys life.
One Idea is to send “healing hands” over the world by professional therapist en counsellors. My first wish is to make it happen and to collect an amount of money to make this dream true.
I’m open for every idea to work on to make happiness over the world.
With loving regards,
Marleen Kragt
I was so happy to get Eugene’s email yesterday. Thank you Eugene! I appreciate being included in this and wish you a lot of luck with your book project.
What makes you happy?
That’s easy! My husband and my son, and my two cats. My family and friends. Writing, reading, gardening and cooking. Nature & travel. In short, experiencing what the world offers me and enjoying it to its full potential.
If you are always a happy person, what is your core belief system and foundation that makes you happy?
I was raised to be an optimist, even in the face of adversity. My parents taught me this, but I also think it is part of me too. Even when things look bad, or if I allow myself to be anger about some perceived slight or disappointment, I find something else to be happy and hopeful about. There is a lot to be hopeful about in my opinion.
If you are feeling sad or depressed, what thoughts or events can turn your mood into happiness, how quickly can you do that?
I usually shift gears and do something different from what is making me feel bad. I try to turn toward something I like to do, or I just take a walk, call a friend, hug my husband, kiss my son…remind myself of how many incredible blessings I have.
What is your outlook in life? Are you a positive person? Or, are you more towards a negative person?
I am a positive person.
Are you taking any courses to improve you happiness???
I am going to be taking driving lessons this year! That should improve my happiness. I just never got around to getting my license, and now at 40-sometime, I am ready! What an adventure.
Well,I’m thinking that while you read this you will think something like “Wow, he definitely needs help”, anyways:
What makes you happy?
Hmm where to start, I like being evil..Funny isn’t it? I like making fun of people, I like doing things that I like to do and never look back wheter if it means causing pain to my “friends” or family members or someone close to me, they don’t matter to me, I love doing things in my own twisted way. I used to love stealing things (but I allways gave them back, strange isnt it?) I just love the adrenaline of it I used to pick pocket my friends stealing their wallets, cellphones, keys etc.. But I allways gave them back because I don’t need those things. Anyways as I’ve said earlier: I love doing things in my own twisted way.
If you are feeling sad or depressed, what thoughts or events can turn your mood into happiness, how quickly can you do that?
I don’t really get sad or angry for a long time, ussually for only like 10 maybe 20 minutes then I just forget about it and continue living on. I just play video games or listen to some music to forget about everything and just live the moment even it it’s only virtual.
What is your outlook in life? Are you a positive person? Or, are you more towards a negative person?
My outlook in life? It sucks, and then you die..Nothing more, nothings less. I think that we, people, make our own and everybody elses lifes miserable.(credit to maddox, he just explains it way better than me due to lack of my English) I think it’s a lack of dicipline. These days, politicians, the media, and even teachers are scared to say anything that might be deemed “politically incorrect”. Handicapped people are no longer handicapped, but are physically or mentally impaired. Prisoners are no longer prisoners, but are freedom inclined. Opening a door for a woman or paying for a meal can be offensive because it might imply that the she can’t do it herself. Strip clubs and pornography are not acceptable because they’re degrading to women. It’s not okay to torture convicted rapists, murderers, and child molestors because it would be cruel and unusual punishment (as opposed to what they did to the victims?). Eating meat is wrong because an animal had to die. Physically diciplining children when they start threatening lives is not okay because it’s child abuse.Kids these days get away with too much. They dye their hair, pierce their bodies, dress up like freaks, experiment with sexuality and drugs, they disregard tradition and rules, and disrespect anyone that might “cramp” their style. Sure, they’ll sit around and smoke, do drugs, and have sex while complaining about the environment, but when it comes to doing anything about it, they’re too infatuated with their image and what’s politically correct to actually change anything.
Are you taking any courses to improve your happiness???
No and I don’t think I’ll ever will. It’s usseless for me, tryied dozens of them already and they never really helped me, yes, even the Secret..
Anyways life is too short, so do whaever makes you happy.
With regards
Dima Sergeev
Thank you Eugene for incuding me in the topic of what makes me happy.
I feel sorry for any one that goes through life unhappy because happiness is a choice.
I have had a lot of unhappiness in my life including the loss of my son, which was and still is the lowest point of my life and then I got to go through a divorce But I find the sunshine through my tears.
My true feelings are that happiness comes from within, and everyone and everything that we bring into our lives help us learn what happiness is all about, so on those days I feel a little down I sit down and relect on all the blessings I have in my life…and Smile.
I think the frame of mind that keeps me positive is living in the knowledge that this moment will never happen again. So with that in mind, I view every situation as a passing gift to be treasured.
I just would like to say that I will look forward to reading your book! Living makes me happy! I too have lost in my life and one day I decided to not cry over the losses but to be happy knowing that dad and Sherri were a part of my life. For a part of my life I was negative and in believing that, it was that! I thought to myself, this is not helping me, it is hindering me. I would say that about once a year I have to have a good old cry, and man do I feel great after that! Its the way I release any tension. My husband and our youngest son ask why I am crying and want to fix it for me. I just tell them that it is my way of releasing stress and it is healthy for me and they don’t have to do anything! If someone says something negative, I will always come out with something for them to look forward to. Life is what we make it, and I love to smile, so there you go!
